Terms of Service

Last updated August 13, 2026.

Who we are

Dad Groups is operated by Church Dads. By creating an account or using Dad Groups you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Your account

You must be 18 or older to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password private and for what happens under your account. Give us accurate information and keep your profile current so the dads in your group know who they are meeting with.

Dad Groups, leaders and members

A Dad Group is private. You see a group only after you join it with an invite code or create it yourself. Leaders can edit group details, schedule meetings, create challenges and manage membership. Being a leader of one group gives you no access to any other group. Invite codes are for people you actually want in the group — treat them like a key to your living room.

What you share

Check-ins, wins, struggles and prayer requests are visible to the active members of that group. Share what is yours to share. What another dad tells your group stays in your group.

Acceptable use

Do not harass, threaten, deceive or demean anyone. Do not use Dad Groups to sell, recruit, spam or promote. Do not attempt to access accounts, groups or data that are not yours. We may deactivate an account, a membership or a whole group that puts dads at risk or breaks these terms.

Not counseling or emergency help

Dad Groups supports friendship and accountability. It is not counseling, therapy, medical, legal or crisis care. If you or someone in your group is in danger, contact local emergency services or a licensed professional right away.

Beta software

Dad Groups is early software offered as-is, without warranties. Features may change and interruptions can happen. To the extent the law allows, Church Dads is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.

Ending your use

You can leave a group at any time, and you can ask us to close your account. We keep group history (such as meetings and check-in records) so a group's story stays intact, and we may keep records we need for security or legal reasons.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Dad Groups grows. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept it.

This is a plain-language starting point for our beta and is not legal advice. Have counsel review it before wider launch.
